History of Allinton

With more than 40 years of history, Allinton has grown from a humble hardware shop into a trusted name in the industry, supporting over 16 different sectors. What started with offering standard products has since evolved into delivering digital solutions and customised services to meet the changing needs of our customers.

1982 – 1988: Allinton Founding Years

Our story began when our founder, Mr. Albert Chin, took his first job as a sales assistant at a hardware trading company after completing National Service. From that experience, he saw an opportunity and committed himself to building a company that would grow into one of the largest distributors of hardware tools.
